How to unlock the TR2 Pollen Allergy achievement in Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft - Definitive Guide

Done in TR2 - Bartoli's Hideout.

Thanks ninjaraiden2003 for correcting my understanding of the achievement. I took this route for the stage as I always have done over the years and completely forgot there was a pushable block to avoid in the first place.

In the beginning area, where you enter the building and there's a gunman both in the balcony above you and also one on the ground level, the "standard" route involves going round the back of this area, navigating some slidy floors and pushing a pushable block with a flower on it to jump to the balcony the gunman was on.

The significantly faster and easier way of getting through this area is to just not do that at all. When you enter this area (and deal with the gunmen), look to the right from the entrance. You'll see above that there's climbable walls. If you angle Lara correctly undsrneath the climbable wall and jump straight up while holding down the Action button, you can grab that wall and skip all of that nonsense I mentioned earlier.

The achievement will unlock when you see the Bartolli's Hideout results screen upon completion of the stage.

Achievements for not moving the pushable block with the flower on it at the start of the level. In the room with the 3 mechanical statues raising and lowering their swords. Once you've used the slope to jump and hang climb up, the flower block is there.

Instead of pushing it you need to angle your jump across and get a hanging grab on the ledge with the handrails that would normally push you off, you can then climb up through them, then just finish the level without having pushed the block the intended way.

Hah, that explains why I got it. I actually completely forgot there *was* another way of getting through that room. Thanks for commenting, I've amended the solution.
