How to unlock the Artilleryman achievement in Tomb Raider - Definitive Guide
Very easy achievement
Just create a private match with one boost partner and set the game mode to Rescue mode. The map must be "beach". Set the options to 20 medipacks and 20 kills and time to 20 minutes ( to get all kills in one game)
Their is ja turret at the hill in the middle of the map
Just kill your boostpartner 20 times and achievement will pop

*Non-boosting method*
My suggestion would be to play "Cry for help" mode. I chose this over rescue because you can kill each side instead of having to down the survivors,
The turrets are on Beach and Underground, I just ran to them asap whenever I spawned. You'll get spotted quickly and may not last long but if you can get in 1 or 2 per turret use it will come quickly. The reticle does not show up right away so line your shots up quick.
Beach - Turret is on the top were the Solarii spawn. I would suggest only using this one when you are the Solarii. Keep it facing forward, at one point they will basically need to throw themselves at you just to get the capture point under the turret.
Underground - Middle on the rusted submarine. This one is a lot more simple, just face the enemy's side and look around for people going to the objectives. I found as a Survivor I got more kills then the Solarii.
Be patient and try to enjoy the game!

nice tips.
I'll just add that i usually found more players in casual than in ranked, so it could be faster in casual.

On some maps there will be a turret for you to use, I got this achievement on the Underground map, there will be a turret on top of a submarine facing a bridge, you can do this in Private Match with a friend if it is more favorable.
In multiplayer, you will find turrets on some levels that will let you shoot and kill other players. If playing regular, you will want to focus on getting to the turrets (memorize where they are) first. You may find that many other players enjoy sitting on these and killing others that are running around fighting.
Online private match boostable (2 players required)
Start a private match with another player (or more). Do this one on the Underground map. There is a turret in the middle on one side. When you kill the other player, have them keep running out of their spawn point.
You can find a turret on the maps Beach, in the center of the map under the gondola transport, and Underground, on top of the submarine. Kill 20 players to unlock the trophy. This trophy is cumulative, so you don't have to kill all 20 in one round or match. You can even boost it in private match with your friends.
You can also speed up this process a bit by boosting it in a Rescue match with 2 Survivors and a Solarii, with Solarii player using the turret. Each time the Solarii player downs a Survivor, it will count as a kill for this trophy. Then other Survivor player can revive their teammate, so you don't need to wait for respawn. Just repeat the process until Solarii player reaches 20 kills. Thanks to F8L Fool for the tip.

It is best in a closed game to ask a friend (at the same time you will help him get this achievement) to stand calmly in the line of fire from a turret 20 times. Don’t forget to turn off the Executioner in “For Yourself” (when playing with two players, the Executioner kills and the round ends) and set the number of kills to more than 20.
There are definitely turrets on the "Shore" and "Underground" maps.
