Speak to the 10,000 year old man after obtaining the 5 golden items.
After collecting the 10 math beads, the 10,000 year old man will offer to give you his psychic fish in exchange for 5 Golden Items. Jumping on the parrot at the Old Tree Hill in the jungle after this event is activated will provide some insight into these items. The items required are as follows:
Gold Medal: Obtained from the motocross course. In order to earn a gold medal on the Motocross Course, you must complete it in under 24.96 seconds.
Golden Fruit: Reward for completing "Some Cheese Please" by giving the character on the right side of Baccus Village 15 pieces of cheese. Cheese can be found by completing the following events:
“A Lost Child”
“I’m So Hungry”(2 pieces)
“Take Out”(2 pieces)
“A Famous Digger”
“What The Thief Forgot”(2 pieces).
and in these locations:
Ol’ Pond - Inside the AP box (2 pieces)
Haunted Mansion - room on the east side where you find Yun (2 pieces)
Haunted Mansion - behind the crying door on the west side (2 pieces)
Underground Maze - 5 inside chests in the area.
Golden Flower: After completing the “Death Fruit Juice” event, found in the bar in Baccus Village, a flower seed can be found in the Watch Tower in a small nook below where you rescued the Dwarf child. Giving this seed to the child will allow him to plant it in the flower box in front of the Dwarf Elder. The flower will bloom after the curse on the Forest of 100 Flowers is lifted, and 97k AP has been earned after giving the child the seed.. It is best to do this early when you have plenty of events left to clear, but you can farm AP from defeating enemies if needed.
Golden Leaf Butterfly: Complete the Leaf Butterflies event. Climbing a vine in Charity Square will lead you to a Dwarf with a cage collecting Leaf Butterflies. You need to bring 29 butterflies (as he already has 1 in the cage) to finish the event. 25 butterflies can be found in the Dwarf Forest as soon as you enter, they will randomly rise up from the leaves as you run around the area. The last 4 can be found in the Jungle area as you run around. Upon returning to the cage in Charity Square and using them, a cutscene will take place and you will receive the Golden Leaf Butterfly.
Golden Candy: Finish the "Let's Make Candy!" event with Mizuno the witch. After finishing the events in the Village of Civilization, you will be informed of a cute witch in the Village of All Beginnings. She is located in the door just beside the motocross course. In order to make the candy you will need a Biting Plant Flower, Butamushi Thorn, Kokka Claws, Molasses, Needlegator Teeth, and Silver Powder.
Silver Powder can be obtained by completing "Ready, Set, Go!" which is the race against the thief to the top of the Watch Tower.
Molasses can be found on Phoenix Mountain by showing the Masakarian standing in front of a door the Funga Drum found in a chest in the Jungle. In the first screen of the Stormy Mountain, when you reach a patch of small biting plants, jump up and to the left to find the platform.
The other 4 items can all be found in chests in the Underground Maze. You can also get a Biting Plant Flower by knocking a fruit into a biting plant at the beginning of the game, but this is not necessary.
Note: The Golden Bowl for completing Hide and Seek does not count as one of the 5 gold items for this event.
