Go to Single Player, Custom, change Sport to Pro Trial and the level to Birdhouse Manual Trial, I would recommend leaving the navigation on casual and click start. Push to move and as soon as you start moving lean on the back of your board and keep held down (your board doesn't have to be that high of the ground and you can see how your skater is balancing as a bar will appear on the left, just try to keep the arrow in the middle of the manual area), if you start going towards a barrier quickly raise the board higher and the back to your raised position so that your charter ollies over the barrier. 500 feet should come quite quickly, your distance is displayed on the right hand side of the screen.
