How to unlock the Old School achievement in Tony Hawks Pro Skater HD - Definitive Guide
You have to score at least 200,000 on the Warehouse without performing a manual. If you're good at grinding, you shouldn't have much trouble with this. In the video I show exactly where I go to get between 30,000-50,000 from one grind combo.

just a note but this achievement would not unlock for me in single session mode. i did it like 3 times in a row and nothing. switched over to career and gave it a try and it popped as soon as i crossed 200k

Stick some special grinds and flips in and easy make it past 300,00 if not 350,000

In the half pipe on the right side is the best place to do this. Do a boneless just before going up the ramp and do any grab with a spin and youll get close to 20,000 points or so everytime.

It is recommended to use an upgraded character which will make this much easier.
I was able to get this achievement in 1:20 using the halfpipe. Just set yourself up, going back and forth in the halfpipe making sure to do No Comply + Spin & Grab moves. You should get anywhere from 5,000-20,000 for every move you do. If you get to the point where you're not earning enough points, just set up a grind combo using the quarter pipe that lines the back wall, jumping as often as possible and doing kickflips to build multiplier. This can help you run the clock past the 2:00 and get an extra 40,000 points.
Please watch the video for my method:

I got this achievement with my avatar and regular, non-edited stats. I found this fairly easy to obtain actually, especially when you have a history with these games back on the old playstation consoles where I literally broke my cd's by simply playing the game.
So when i start off i do like an x3 with Left-Down, Left-up, Right-up, Right-down + X tricks. I easily got my special bar full and then I scored points here and there but there's 1 special line that allows you to score up to 73,000+ points in 1 combo.
Also try to switch tricks a bit since the score for the trick will go down the more you execute it.
At the side where you start off, use the QP to launch and get some speed to fly through the place where the secret DVD is, to land on the rail behind the half pipe and jump on to the following quarter pipe and try to grind it all the way down to the end of it. Whilst jumping and performing flip tricks to build up your multiplier. This is the line I got 73.000 points on.
I had 1:32 minutes left on the clock when I allready had around 110.000 points. It took a bit to get the feeling with the jump through the secret DVD place and grinding on the rail behind it to get on the QP, but once you get the hang of that you can easily get 200.000 or more. my final score was around 215-220.000 points.
I hope my tips will help you net the 200.000 points without a manual and therefore unlock the achievement that comes with it. If you have questions feel free to ask and if you give it a downvote, please tell me why in comment so that I can eventually edit my post to become a great solution!

It is Recommended to have a maxed out character for this but it is unnecessary. I achieved this in just over the 1 minute mark inside the halfpipe, and ONLY inside the halfpipe.
It's really easy actually. STAY IN SWITCH!! It doesn't really seem to affect your characters ability but it multiplies you score. In the upper right hand corner of your screen, you have a skateboard. If it doesn't say switch on it, pull your right trigger and the boarder will flat ground spin to switchfoot. every trick you do in switch shows up YELLOW and has increased point value. Also, if while on the halfpipe, you find yourself with normal footing, pull the trigger just as you land or before you jump to "Revert", switching your footing on the board, and adding an extra trick to your multiplier. It's also a good idea to vary your tricks a bit as the value goes down with each use. Also, I recommend not using stalefish or madonna as they seem most likely to throw off your landing.
I got this by continuously going up spinning + fliptrick + grabtrick and hold grab til last second. Add a revert on the landing or takeoff and i was getting 10k-20k per jump.
