the elite enemies are the larger shiney versions of the standard enemies in the level, they also have a named health bar appear on screen, early on in the game there arent that many of them but if you dont gain it during campaign try runs through Helheim, the elites seem to spawn in groups there (wolf troopers and undead regulars)

Just to clarify: This achievement is for defeating 100 Elite enemies.

Elite enemies look very similar to normal enemies, but have a lot more health. They can be identified if you see a health bar at the bottom with their name, such as Elite Goblin.
