How to unlock the Unstoppable: Helheim achievement in Too Human - Definitive Guide

I just got this, lvl 30 Defender. Some advice:

- Have a high Blunt Resistance, mine was at 20%.
- Have high armour, mine was about 800 at the start and near 1000 at the end.
- Use the rifles secondary fire to deal constant damage to groups.
- If you see a lime or mint green coloured enemy, take them out from a distance, they inflict poison.
- Wolf pack zombies are very strong and are often accompanied by Necros (the fat hovering guys), Necros are top priority as they can bring the Wolf zombies back.
- Wraths should be taken out quickly, I prefer quick melee kills as opposed to slow ranged kills.
- If a large group surrounds you, use a Ruiner.
- Let your troops take some of the heat.
- The first boss has ranged attacks, back up and wait for him to attack the other troops, this allows you to use a ranged weapon to destroy his armour. Jump and roll to evade his spikes.
- Focus on Hel, only attack the zombies if they become a hastle or you get below 50% health. Use Ruiners.
- Use the Sentient Weapon if you have it, it's fast as Hell and pretty strong (thanks for the reminder aGundamDownHere)
- USE SWORDS, THEY'RE MORE EFFECTIVE.
- If you have a bunch of loot, you may see a rise in health drops (credit aGundamDownHere)

Good advise all around. I'll only add that people should save a Sentient Weapon for the final boss, and have as much +loot % as possible. It makes the enemy drop more health in addition to the general money, items, blue prints, etc.

I replayed through this level from beginning-end without quitting or returning to Aesir and without dying. Unfortunately, it didn't unlock for some reason! :( Any ideas why? Went through this with a lvl 50 cybernetic defender.

Okay, so I was kindof confused what this achievement is actually for (since it's listed as "Secret" and none of the guides seem to explain it).

You need to "Beat Helheim without dying". I hope this helps someone!

If you want to do it alone, pick a defender. On higher levels he will withstand lots of hits, especially if you take the middle path (bonus armor, spider shield, battle cry which reflects status changes). If you take the cybernetic path you can add additional bonus to armor, with a total of +20%

You don't need to be a defender to do this so dismiss that worry, I just did this with a lvl 50 Human Berserker. I mainly use the right side of the skill tree as well as the right side for the alignment tree. My weapons were the "Raging Axes of the Merciless" and "A Source of Agony". My armor wasn't anything speacial either, also my character didn't have any particular charms on him so if you have good ones, that can only make things easier for you. It should be noted that I did this from the mission select menu option. As such there where twice as many enemys and I did this by myself so its very doable. The only thing you need to know is to spam your fierce attack as much as possible but be careful not to accidently fly toward a group of enemys your not prepared to fight. Also save your ruiner attacks for the "tight spots" but I'm sure thats common knowledge. Garm may give you some trouble if you guns aren't very good, mine were crap so it took me a little while to kill him other than that he's pretty simple. Hel was very easy to beat, all you have to do is spam fierce attack on the enemys she spawns then once they are gone beat the crap out of her with your melee weapon. The achievement unlocks upon her defeat so you don't have to play the last 2 min. or so of the level if you really don't want to.

I did it with a level 25-29 Human Commando. Used a Slug Rifle with maxed out Reload Speed, Slug Rate of Fire and Secondary Fire Skills. Constantly use Grenades (no less often then once every other clip), Use Spider and Battle Cry in tough spots. Also stay away from everyone.

Here are some general tips for getting the unstoppable achievements full credit goes to Tracker4502

A) Doing it alone is always easier. You may think that having a buddy helps, bu the level becomes sufficiently more deadly in Co-op vs single player. However, the level is only easier if you are playing through the campaign; revisiting the level makes it the same difficulty as doing it in Co-op. Lastly, you don't need to make a new character to try campaign again, but just be warned that you only have once chance per level per campaign to try it on the easier difficulty.

B) Retreat is always an option. If you can retreat, do so. While you're at it, use pistols / rifles / cannons to pick enemies off one by one. I suggest lasers since they slow down your enemies. Retreating also allows you to break the mob up into small, more managable groups.

C) Never cut corners. By this, I mean don't waste your spiders, battle cys, ruiners, or sentinent weapons just to speed something up. Save all of these for emergencies. By keeping them all, you will be able to stave off the harder groups of enemies and never be left overwhelmed and cornered.

D) Patience is key. Between every mob, let your battle cry and spider meters recharge if you used them. If you are a bio-engineer, allow your health to refill.

E) Use your teammates as bait. The game will constantly supply you with a bevy of teammates that seem to be innumerable. Take advanatage of this by always standing behind them. They do a good job of slowing down the enemies and function as perfect meat-shields.

F) For Ice Forest and Helheim: Save a sentient weapon for the boss. In the final phase of each, a sentinent weapon will make short work of the boss. This means less risk of you dying at the very end.
