How to unlock the Not that tough achievement in Top Spin 3 - Definitive Guide

Set up an exhibition match, have Player 1 on the bottom so you'll serve 1st.

Select a character you have played with a lot, probably a created character as you should have the timing for their shots down. You don't need a player with massive serve and power stats, follow the serving guide I linked to below and you'll have no trouble holding serve.

Choose an AI opponent you know you can beat on Hard difficulty (personally I did it vs Amelie Mauresmo, but Boris Becker is a good choice too, both have very predictable play styles). Someone with low speed and service return stats is ideal because you'll be looking to put alot of aces past them and easy winners when they do manage to return.

Court choice is entirely up to you.

Set the match up for 1 set, 3 games. I had tie-break off, probably doesn't matter.

Follow my guide to serving here Solution for Mean server In Top Spin 3 If you perfect that method your average service game will take less than a minute, probably closer to 30 seconds, then it's just up to you to break the opponents serve.

After you notch the win without losing serve just hit rematch, you should be done in less than an hour.

Should you actually lose serve quit back to dash immediately and reload the game.

No idea if this will save your streak as I did it in one go, but it's worth a try.

Set matches to one set and only three games, then put yourself at the top of the court so you are receiving serve first. That way if you win every game you only have to serve once and it reduces the risk. Make sure to play against the weakest A.I opponent you can find, and if you lose serve quit to the dashboard before the game saves.

Just to tack on to the Top Solution, which is great btw. And reiterate a few key points.

1) let the AI serve first, this will make less likely to accidently loose the match.

2) your created player is fine. I left stamina, serve and return at 30 and maxed the rest.

3) Tommy Haas is a puntz, only CPU I could beat consistently. And I suck at tennis. He will frequently hit it out of bounds or catch the net. Gotta love free points. And he doesn't try and volley.

4) If the CPU wins all 3 of his at serves Dashboard
It's safe don't worry.

5) after each win don't rematch just exit and start it up again.

6) dropping serve means losing the match when you are serving

7) CPU can score points when your serving.

Some variables I didn't test.

1) can be done over several days
2) does rematch work
3) Can you go into a tie break

If you're reading this and you feel like testing out 1 or 2 of those variables please send me a msg.
