-How to return the ball (You must simply learn how to hit a ball back after someone has hit it to you, ergo 'keeping the rally alive')
-How to reposition (You must learn how to get back into position after each swing)
-How to aim (Learn how to aim cross-court and down the line)
-How to serve (Learn how to make a serve good and how to do different serves)
-Recap of the Basic Lessons (Use all 4 techniques you've learned against an opponent)
