Gold Coaches can be hired once you reach 'Player level 15' in Career mode. To progress from level to the next, you must earn enough experience points. These can be earned on any game mode, as long as you use your created player.

To level up, go to the Career Main Screen, My Player, Player Evolution. Select any of the three options here to level up your player. You will need a total of at least 7225XPs to reach level 15.

A Gold Coach may not be available straight away, so you may need to progress to level 16 (+1400XPs) or level 17 (+1700XPs).

Once there is at least one Gold Coach available to you, go to the Career Main Screen, My Player, Coach List. Press the LT to filter 'Gold Coaches'. Now view the Objectives for each Gold Coach. Some objectives are easier than others, depending on your style of play. Select the Gold Coach that matches your play the closest and continue playing through the career to complete the objectives.
