I completed 10 online matches total in either 2K Tour (where you play as your choice of real-life pro) or World Tour (where you play as your created MyPLAYER pro) mode. Online exhibitions may work too but I did not try any of those. Matches are best of 3 sets with each set won by the player to first get 3 game victories. You do not need to win any matches - just complete them. I did have my connection drop with one opponent terminating the match and it did NOT count towards the 10 match total. I lost every match with each lasting about 5 or 6 minutes. Online cross-play is enabled by default so most of my matches were against opponents on other platform(s) and I did not have to wait long to start any of the matches.

I played 4 of the 10 matches in the 2K Tour mode. One match each with one of the four currently featured pros. This earned the achievement:
