How to unlock the Century Mark achievement in Torchlight II - Definitive Guide
This is a pretty big grind. You will likely have to play through the entire story at least 3 times, plus a little Mapwork dungeon running. So don't expect this achievement to pop until NG++, late into the story. Sadly there's no real way to farm for easy XP, you'll just have to play through the story and hit up Mapworks if you get bored with that. Always look for maps that offer 5% more XP and try to find gear that adds extra XP, even if it's just 1%, every little bit helps.
Good luck, and happy grinding.

Personally I find mapwork dungeon running far more productive from an XP POV than playing the story. Doing NG+, I went through acts 1, 2, and partway through 3 and hadn't gone up a single level in the 70's, but one run through a level 76-85 mapwork I go up a level or two.
Either way though, yeah, this is a grind.

Grinding your character up to level 100 is easy to do, but will take quite some time. I was able to finish the game around Lvl 50 while completing most of the sub bosses. NG+ quickly around Lvl 80 and most of a NG++ playthrough before reaching Lvl 100. You will want to combine this grind with the hunt for a legendary item, as the easiest way to get one (unless you are ungodly RNG lucky) is to purchase it from Duros the Blade (He doesn't have them in his inventory until NG++).
Another alternative is to grind the mapworks, but I found that much slower than just powering through NG+ and NG++ and I tended to die a lot. The story quests give quite good EXP and if you do the Trillbot+Sisters Quest line each run it amounts to a huge boost of EXP, multiple levels each time even into the 90's.
I also found the Tarroch's Tomb arena quest in the Ossean Wastes to be a great source of EXP if you are strong enough to advance several rounds. The enemies start @ Lvl 100 and quickly scale up each round to very high levels. This can also be combined with hunting for legendary items.

In the dungeons you come across a master who makes artifacts from objects, that is, he enchants objects for experience and the search for magical items. We enchant all the clothes and give the pet a scroll that gives a good percentage of experience and the search for magic items and go through the subway. For 2 floors it turned out to be one and a half levels, I didn’t kill the boss, but portaled back, bought a card for experience and proceeded the same way. It turned out to be much faster to gain experience. And don't forget to copy the safe, because... On hardcore they can get a one-shot.

So, there are a couple of ways to significantly speed up getting to level 100:
1. After completing the game for the first time, we switch to NG+ and immediately go to the card workshop and buy cards for your level (maybe even a little more) with buffs of +5% to experience (often you come across +5% to experience, +25% to gold and +10% to items), if there are no normal cards at the moment, then after you return to the workshop they will be updated and you can buy them with a reserve for the future
2. While traveling through dungeons, you will sometimes come across enchanters for cards, you can ignore everyone (especially if you collect gold) except for the one who has “lucky” in his name, here you can splurge a little and enchant all your things a couple of times, since this sorcerer only gives the following enchantments: +2% to experience or +2% to gold or +2% to magic items
3. And finally, the most powerful experience accelerator is the studied spell “adventurer”, something like that is called, it gives a passive bonus to the growth of fame and experience points, and at the 6th level of this spell +6%
It can be obtained either as a random drop from mobs during the passage, or from a transmutator I turn two other spells into a random third one, the sooner you find it, the better
