This can only be unlocked once you finish the campaign for the first time and gain access to the Mapworks. After you beat the final boss and claim your reward, there is an NPC in the homebase for the Mines (the final area, whatever its called) who will open up a portal to the Mapworks. Enter the portal, and from there, there will be another NPC who sells various maps that you can farm for gear and gold all the way up to level 105. Buy one of them, then use it from the little stand that is right next to him. Achievement will unlock at the loading screen.

Maps are available for purchase and use in the post-game after defeating the final boss. From the final encampment (The Minehead) look for the NPC "Retto the Mapper" to open the portal to the "Mapworks". Once there, just purchase and map from the vendor and use it with the selector machine to unlock the trophy.
