Torment: Tides of Numenera

In the middle of Circus Minor in the Sagus Cliffs, just above the gallows, there is a giant monster in the cage. This is the Nychthemeron.

1. Talk to Canadu standing in front of it. Ask him about his past and go through all the dialogue options.
2. Talk to El-Jinto and ask about his history. He should allow you to look at the Nychthemeron.
3. Just above them behind a tent is Beleazar. Talk to him and offer him aid to start the quest "Beleazar and the Beast"
4. Go up and plant the teleportation device on the cage. This will require a Quick Fingers speed check.
5. Recruit a party. You can recruit three warriors:

- Aidan Sitabo is the monk in the area to the right of the Circus Minor. He's near a fountain. Recruiting him will require three speed checks and 30 shin.

- Quijano del Toboso is a knight in the Caravansarai in the far northeast. Talk to him and tell him of a beast of pure hate. Choose the dialogue options that make it seems most evil and menacing (not the ones that make it seem like just a scary threat).

- Varrenoth is the girl in the Undercity in the bottom of the area that is possessed and can't say her name or purpose and the like. She'll join you willingly.

Now to go the Reef of Fallen Worlds. Go down the stairs and you'll find your recruits. Farther still and a battle awaits. With your three assistants this is a fairly easy battle. Just go all out. The beast does a lot of damage but you'll do far more. Kill it and the achievement is yours.

Not really a guide but if, like me, you spared the Nychthemeron in Sagus Cliffs and it ended up in the calm you can still get this achievement later.

Once you get to Valley of Dead Heroes you will see the Nychthemeron moving about in the middle area, can't miss it. Speak with it and you get an option to attack it, do this, kill it and achievement will pop.
