How to unlock the Just A Taste achievement in Torment: Tides of Numenera - Definitive Guide
This is easy to get and all it requires is that you die. To start with you must have gained access to the cliff in the Caravanserai. You will need to complete the main quest "The Cold, Calculating Jack". Once you have done so you can leave the cave via a ladder or a cave mouth to the southeast. The ladder goes up to the Caravanserai proper. We want to take the cave exit. Out on the cliff side you can interact with two spots: one to climb up the cliff and one going down. Click on the one going down and when given the choice, choose to jump.
After words, words and more words you wake up in the Dendra O'Hur chapel in the Underbelly. Imbitu, the group leader, will request the chance to devour your body since you can't die and all. Refuse them, save your game and then agree. This nets you the achievement, some money, XP and an Ornament. Unfortunately this also costs you a permanent -2 to your maximum hit points. You also gain new dialogue with Imbitu and Gh'zei. Imbitu shares visions while Gh'zei has some future plans to discuss.
After that you can either reload the game or keep trucking with that permanent penalty. Your choice.
NOTE: Some people have said that dying in other ways brought them to the Dendra O'Hur chapel. This wasn't my experience. I would leave the Calm and wake up right where I went down. Tested this in the Reef, Anchaeocic Lazaret and the Tavern.

I died during the very first fight in the game, when we were confronted shortly after leaving the starting area with the broken resonance chamber. The Dendra O'Hur chapel is where I awoke afterwards.
