Torment: Tides of Numenera

The first opportunity to earn this is when taking to Matkina.

She explains what a mere and merecaster are. Essentially you relive an event in the life of a cast-off.

When talking to Matkina choose the option. 'ill do it, ill enter the mere' you will immediately be transported to a dialogue heavy memory. I would advise you to read as much of the memory as possible.

Upon exiting the memory the achievement will unlock

A Mere is a distinct segment of the game where you'll enter the memories of an individual and see a series of still images accompanied by dialogue choices. They look like this:

Without spoiling too much, you'll be tasked with making a series of choices which can change the outcome of the scenario you are reliving. I earned this very early on when talking to Matkina, as part of the main questline as well as a side quest involving a series of murders.
