How to unlock the Obliterate the Odds achievement in Total War: Warhammer III - Definitive Guide

This is a misleading description. It is NOT about the unit or model count. Having 19 single entities against a stack of gnoblars wont get you this achievement. Instead you have to win "against the odds". Unfortunately there is no definitive way to know when the odds are against you enough, while it still being winnable. The best way to do it is to create a one-person-doomstack towards the end of the game.

This channel has good videos about cheesing the game: https://www.youtube.com/c/LegendofTotalWar
I recommend searching for "one man doomstack" on the channel, it will show you a range of videos of singular characters, what they have equipped and how they are built to allow them to body multiple armies by themselves.

Generally Skarbrand and Zhao Ming are the best choices for that. Generally speaking you want to maximize the ward save of the lord and give him some kind of healing ability. Then look for multiple enemy armies and attack them. Attacking is better, since the AI tends to play defensive and you can move more easily around the map.

@HighT3chR3dn3ck There is no one video that will give you the solution. His channel has a lot of videos that can teach you how to win the most unwinnable situations. I would recommend looking for "one man doomstack" on his channel, depending on the faction you play in the game, you will find builds for a character from your faction, that will make it more easy for you to get the cheevo.

So the youtube link does not take me to the video needed for the guide. Can you fix this? The person has a ton of videos.

I don't know what to do with this. I watched the videos, I've won 2 battles against large armies with a single unit... I just don't know what to do.

Also, I don't know if they updated the game or not, but it doesn't matter if you attack or not. They always come after you.

Ok, try this: Have a defensive battle, one where you do not defend a settlement. Best would be a garrison being attacked by some large army. As long as that garrison includes some fast units (best done with light elven cavalry), you can run out the clock and win. You should have plenty of opportunities for that during normal completion.

Not super helpful, brother. But I appreciate the effort.

You need to win the battle yourself (not by auto-calculation) so that there are 10 times more enemy units. Skaven (rats) or Nurglites are ideal as opponents; there are usually many of them in squads. You can have at least 20 units in your army, but these should be single units. In my opinion, ogres or Horn troops are good choices (they have a lot of armor, and Skarsbrand in Vaha3 is the best melee fighter)
