How to unlock the The Art of Surprise achievement in Total War: Warhammer III - Definitive Guide

Play as Tzeentch and switch your stance to teleport. In this stance you can move and ambush at the same time. It is okay to auto resolve the battles and even if the ambush fails you will get credit as long as you win the battle. Do this 5 times for the achievement.

You need to participate in the ambush battle yourself, only then does it count. Auto combat is not taken into account. If possible, look for a lord with ambush abilities, heroes and items (increases the chance that you will not be detected). Try to provoke the AI ​​to attack an army/city, and place an ambush army in front of the target, then there is a high probability that the AI ​​will take the bait.
