This is less of a guide as to how to beat the campaign but more as to how to unlock it. You need to go into the Legacy map in sandbox mode and press F on PC (Or whatever the free roam console button is) and hover your screen over certain items across the map to unlock the characters. Here is a video that I found on YouTube which could help a lot and shows all locations.
