How to unlock the It's a Flying Car! achievement in Totally Reliable Delivery Service - Definitive Guide

To unlock the helicopter you need 10 gold trophies and 15 silver trophies. My initial solution stated that you needed 10 gold trophies but Lavindathar kindly pointed out that was incorrect.

Every vehicle related achievement requires a different amount of a certain type of trophy. To view these requirements you can find signs posted in and around the headquarters that show how many bronze, silver, and gold trophies you need to unlock. The unlock requirement for the helicopter can be seen on the roof of the headquarters and it is 10 gold trophies and 15 silver trophies.

To earn trophies you have to complete deliveries. There are some deliveries that need to be completed quickly and there are some that need to be completed with minimal damage to the package. For me it is easier to earn gold trophies on the deliveries that don't require speed, you can take your time and deliver the package safely.

When you earn a trophy, you also earn trophies of the levels below. So if you earn a gold trophy on the first delivery you also win a silver trophy and a bronze trophy. You can only earn each trophy once. You can play a delivery over and over in order to improve your trophy, but if you already have gold it won't count again.

These achievements seem to be host only as well :(
At least they aren’t unlocking for anyone else in my game.

same happened to me Skully33 my friend was the host and they popped for him but i then hosted my own online game and they all popped automatically.

Glad this wasn't glitchy for me
I got it once I got my 10th gold, I have 6 silver and 12 bronze. So I didn't need 15 silver as well

10 Gold 5 Silver 2 Bronze and it unlocked for me. Must be the 10 Gold as it unlocked when i got my 10th

Thanks Lavindathar, you are 100 percent correct, I just happened to have enough silvers when I hit 10 gold so I just assumed that was the requirement. I have now loaded up the game on a different profile and I have seen the requirements are indeed 10 gold and 15 silver, I will edit the solution.

Earning trophies doing delivers will unlock vehicles in your HQ garage

Signs with the requirements needed for each vehicle are in the garage

The helicopter is on the roof of the garage

Good guides for this game but maybe you could add here that you need 15 gold.

It requires 10 gold and 15 silver medals. The requirements are stated on the sign.

The Helicopter is unlocked by completing at least 15 Silver deliveries and 10 Gold deliveries. See Veteran Driver (40G) for more information about deliveries.

If you are playing in a multiplayer session, the trophy will only unlock for the Host Player. If you are not the Host, the trophy will unlock the next time you join a new game session (either solo or co-op).

To unlock the Helicopter, you’ll need to earn 15 Silver and 10 Gold Medals. The Medals do stack, so if you earn a delivery's Gold Medal, you’ll also earn its Silver and Bronze Medals. As soon as you’ve met the requirements, the vehicle will unlock as well as the trophy.

You can find your unlocked vehicles scattered throughout the map as well as at your Deliveries HQ (when you’re not in an active delivery mission, hit  and select “Respawn at Deliveries HQ”).
