How to unlock the Totem Hero achievement in TotemBall - FREE OFFER - Definitive Guide

In order to complete the Single Player, you must play through 10 Levels, and 2 or 3 Pinball Bonus Levels. I have found a guide at Xbox360Achievements.org (Although it's made by II PsYCh0 II.) which is very helpful if you get stuck (There is also a Hand Simulator for the PC, downloadlink at the end of the Solution + Usage Guide):

1: Welcome to Totemball
Go straight from the start and turn right and pick up the totempiece that is in between 3 walls. Turn around and continue straight through the door. Pick up the totempiece that is directly through the door and then turn left and take the lift. Get off the lift, turn right, and go straight, then pick up the totempiece, and then continue straight and go through the exit.

2: The Lagoon
From the start, turn around and go behind the wall. Pick up the totempiece. Go back to where you started and then go down the path that leads to the “1” bar, and go through. Go straight and up the hill to a little patch of grass and pick up the totempiece. Look to your left and you will see a little circle of grass on the shore of the water with a totempiece on it. Go there and pick up the totempiece, then turn around and take the lift. Go straight and hop over the island and pick up the piece at the furthest back hoppable island. Continue across the hoppable islands until you reach where they start again, and then turn right and go straight over the ramp. From here go over the smaller ramp and youll be back at the area you started at. Collect the 2 totempieces here and go out the door near the first totempiece you collected.

From here, totempieces will be referred to as just “pieces”

3: Island Hopping
Go straight, get piece. Turn left, get piece. Continue on, and get piece. Go up hill, turn left, get piece. Take lift. Get piece that you can see when you get off the lift. Continue down, get piece. Drop down, turn right, and follow hoppable islands and get piece. Turn around and follow the hoppable islands. When you come to the island that has the starting of the bridge on it, turn left and then follow those hoppable islands to another piece. Turn around and go back to the bridge, go across the bridge and out the exit.

4: Pass the Limbo
Go straight, get piece. Turn right, get piece. Go straight across this field here and get the piece that is right before the wall that has the bar on it. DO NOT GO UNDER THE BAR. Turn around and go right and you will drop down to a row of islands… continue on and take the lift. When you get off the lift, go straight and you will come to a door .Go through this door. WATCH OUT FOR THE CLOUDGUY, if HE GETS YOU HE WILL CARRY YOU AWAY. Get the piece that is ahead of you in the bushes, and then turn left. Follow the wood bridges that lead to higher islands, picking up two more pieces. Exit.

5: Round 'n Round
Go straight over the islands, and get piece. Continue. When you are back on land (not on the small islands), go left and hop to the 1st island, then hop to the next one and get the piece. Go down, and go through the movable wall. Get piece, and take the lift. WATCH OUT FOR THE CLOUDGUY, if HE GETS YOU HE WILL CARRY YOU AWAY. Go straight, get the piece and then go left and take the lift. WATCH OUT FOR THE LIGHTNINGGUY, if HE GETS YOU HE WILL STEAL YOUR PIECES!! Quickly go left to collect the piece, then turn around and go over the ramp, being sure to avoid the LIGHTNING GUY. Once you are over the ramp, go straight and collect the piece. Then turn left and follow the path you took before. Just keep following the path straight and go through the exit.

6: Temple Ruins
Go straight, continue over the log bridge and get piece. Drop down. Go over islands and take lift. Go straight until you come to a ramp. Turn left (opposite way the ramp is facing) and you will see a piece a couple small hoppable islands over. Hop over these islands and get the piece, then go back and go up the ramp. Continue, and turn left up to the main temple building. Go into the temple, and when you come to the temple room, look left and you should see a “2” bar and a lift. Go under the “2” bar and take the lift. When you get off the lift, go left and you will see the exit (right near the CLOUD GUY). Go get the piece by the exit, and then go up the hill that leads back up to the temple. Once you are back up on the temple building, go over the small ramp and go left through the door (opposite of the “2”bar and lift). Pick up the piece beyond this door. Turn left, and drop down. Continue on a little bit, and then turn left and hop the islands to get the piece. Go back, continue hopping islands, going straight, and you will eventually come back on the main temple building. When you reach the building, go right and take the lift. When you go off the lift, go straight through the door and pick up that piece. Drop down and exit.

7: Door or Bridge
Go straight and get the three pieces. Go through the movable wall/door and turn left. Go up the grass hill, over the bridges, and take the lift. At the exit of the lift, go under the “2” pole that is to the right and then go over the bridge. Once you have gone over the bridge and are on the other side, drop down and continue over the log bridge to the temple ground and get the piece. Take the lift in front of you, and continue on, over the hoppable islands. Pick up piece and go through door. Go straight and pick up piece on next island. Continue on over the islands and go up the logbridge and through the door. Go straight and pick up the piece. Go through the moving wall door, go straight, and exit.

8: Two Laps
From start, turn left and hop over the islands. Continue on til you reach the “0” pole and go under. Get the piece. Continue on to your right over the log bridge, take the lift, and continue over the structure (stone path) eventually picking up 2 pieces along the way. Continue til youre back where you started. Go up the hill, get piece. Continue over the bridge til you get the the “0” bar. Turn right, get piece continue PAST (not through) “0” pole. Drop down. Jump over the island. When you reach the mainland again, turn right, jump up to the islands. Take the log bridge, take lift, get piece. Go straight, and drop down to where you started. Go straight up the hill and turn right and go through the exit.

9: Exploration
Go straight, get piece, go over bridge, turn left. Drop down, go left, go down the short path and get the piece. Go back Turn left and hop over the water to where the next land is with the door. Go through the door and get the piece that is straight ahead of you. Turn left and go past the yellow/purple gems and take the lift. Get off the lift and go PAST (not through) the “3” pole and continue on. Get the piece but do not take any lifts. Go back to the “3” pole and there is a door right near it. Go through this door. Through this door there is a piece. Get it, and come back to the “3” pole but make sure not to go through it. Continue on, take the lift, and then pick up another piece. Continue on a little bit and drop down, turn left and then go through the door. Go straight, hop a couple islands, and pick up the piece. Drop down, and then go straight through the exit door.

10: Tricky
Turn right and go through the “2” bar. Go straight, and turn right at the end. Go over the structure bridge, get the piece, and continue on and take the lift. Go under the “1” bar back to where you started and get the piece that is straight ahead of you. Go back under the “2” bar you went under before and go straight until you come to a door. Go through this door and continue uphill and get the piece, then drop down. Go back to the “2” bar and right beside it is a “3” bar. Go through this bar and then go straight through a door that is directly across and a little to the left and the “3” bar you just came out of. Continue on over the disconnected bridge and take the lift on the right. Get off the lift, get the piece, drop down, and go through the door on the left and exit.

Also, if you are like me, and you don't like the game, because it is very tiresome, there is a way to play this without using your arms. There is a program that uses a white screen with 2 hands which you can control with the computer's Cursers. You can install it on your Computer or Laptop, aim your Vision at the screen and adjust the hands to the right format. It works perfectly, as I used this to complete the game. Definatly one of most recommended things ever.

Hope this helped, if you have any questions, I am open to questions.

General's guide above is great for leading one through the levels and I would suggest using it. However, if you are like me and don't want to download the program with the hands...or don't have a laptop to put your xbox vision camera in front of, I have found another trick that will help you go through these levels much faster than using your arms or hands.

Set up a little "station" in front of your lap and put the vision camera on it, facing your stomach. I was sitting on a recliner chair and used the kicked out leg rest and put my legs on the outside of the recliner (basically straddling the reclined leg rest). I simply put the vision camera on the recliner part about even with my knees and tilted it up slightly towards my thighs/stomach.

Now that you have the camera set up, grab two sharpie markers or a marker with a black tip cover. I found that you can use two pencils as well, but the camera responds to black a little better. Now sit back and rest your hands on your legs/thighs and use the tips of the markers as your controllers. I put my hands on my lap about even with my pockets on my jeans.

You will be able to see the marker tips on the tv screen, but you want them to be fairly big. My exact setup may not be optimal for you so simply adjust the distance of your hands from the camera or move the camera more towards your hands to get as comfortable as possible, while maintaining a full range of motion to guide the totemball on screen. With this setup, I finished the campaign on my first try in one sitting. It is a very nice alternative to having your hands and arms stretched out for the entire game. Hope this helps.

Note: I had on a plain light grey t-shirt. I would recommend something like that or a plain white t-shirt because that will be your backdrop for the camera in contrast to the black tip markers. This will help the camera pick up the marker tips a little better as well. Also, be sure to focus the camera so the marker tips look crisp on your tv screen.

There is a good thread that describes what to do in all levels : https://www.xboxachievements.com/f...ad.php?t=29689

If you don't want to read this, just follow the blue runes in the levels, and you should figure out your way through. Basically, to complete levels, you must collect totem pieces to open doors. Sometimes, if you collect the wrong pieces, you can reset the totem pieces on your ball by passing through gates (an exemple of this is level "Door or Bridge", where you must reset your totem pieces to get on the bridge). The number of pieces left after passing through is indicated on the gate. The reset pieces will respawn where you collected them, so you can still complete the level.
