This achievement is for completing the extra stage, beating the final boss Reimu, and watching the end credits. (So if you've earned Eternal Shrine Maiden, just watch the credits and you get this achievement.)

I had some difficulty with Reimu. Here is my strategy:

Stage 1: This is a one-on-one battle with her on the ground. She has an attack where she shoots fire at you, a whip attack that grabs you, a whip attack that shoots out of the ground, a run at you attack (happens right after Yin-Yang symbols), and a jump and attack with whip. She also drops cards that freeze you in place. Halfway through the battle there is dialogue and she starts raining fire from the sky. If you can jump in the air and get hit by one of the time-freezing cards, the fire will graze and heal you, but it's hard to time it right.

In this first part of the battle, I used 1000 Knives. I waited for her to do a long attack (like fire shooting), pause time, run behind her, and throw 1000 knives. Sometimes I could unfreeze time & hit her twice. This strategy helped me avoid most of the attacks and regain some MP. It will probably take several attempts to get her patterns down. You can also find a video on YouTube to get an idea.

Stage 2: This is a bullet-hell battle with her flying around with 4 (Japanese shrines?). These attacks are hard to describe so a video is probably better, but here goes. Attack 1 is a deck of floating red cards that explode into red fireballs. Attack 3 has several black holes that shoot out fireballs. Attack 4 has two strings of cards guillotine across the screen. Attack 5 has green fireballs that only move when you freeze time; this also has more fireball black holes. Attack 6 has time-freeze cards spiderweb across the screen & then flutter down; this is paired with Attack 7 double-blue death beams from two of the shrines. Attack 8 is another blackhole fire attack but now it's very close to the ground and you can try to avoid by sliding. From here the attacks just loop. Halfway through she adds a new attack; Attack 9 is giant white Ying-Yangs will shoot lasers in a spiral pattern. When she's closer to death she adds another; Attack 10 is twelve giant explosions, which move right to left & cover the entire screen. So.... lots of attacks.

In this second part of the battle, I switched to Lost Holy Sword. I was having a lot of trouble dodging her attacks, and I couldn't focus on staying safe and attacking her at the same time. The Lost Holy Sword will basically keep attacking as long as you have MP. It will attack anything minor (floating red cards, time-freeze spiderweb cards) and then spend the rest of the time attacking the boss. So try to avoid attacks, use time-stop, and the Holy Sword does most of the damage. (I don't think I even attacked her to be honest.)

Also I grinded until I was at level 40. My stats are 150 HP, 150 MP, 33 Knives, Attack 19, Def 13.1, Time 160, and I'd collected all upgrades & items. Another guide suggested buying a bunch of healing items from the Shop, this is a good option too!

your stage 2 goes from attack 1 to attack 3 but ty for the heads up.

You will unlock this area after defeating Flan in area 5, go there and defeat Reimu and this will unlock at the same time as Eternal Shrine Maiden (60G).
