This does not need to be done all in one run. Upon entering the room where the boss is before entering each boss arena he will just be hanging out closer to the arena. Talk to him once or twice to be safe then go fight the boss. As you will be completing at the minimum 8 whole runs this one wont be hard to get

Its still not unlocking i have tried everrything.

unfortunately as i have not played since back in april they have had some updates to the game since then. it's very possible one of the updates broke it further than it was but i do remember thinking i had talked to him in all the areas and it didn't pop up right away. so i just kept talking and hoping for the best. i'm sorry i dont have good advice to give for this situation

I've talked to him many times in every location. Achievement still hasn't popped. Seems to be bugged.

see its either the achievement itself is bugged or xbox achievements are broken. reason i say this is from my personal experience the past week a lot of achievements just aren't popping up. im talking EASY stuff like beat the tutorial (87% of gamers have earned this sorta stuff) across many different games. Best bet would be to then try getting all of his dialogue in one go but even that could not properly function sadly. im not sure if hes in the main hub as i have not played the game since last december but if hes in the main hub prior to the run id say make sure to talk to him there too im really sorry it's not working and i hope that it will just randomly pop up for you
