Once again like the evil empire DLC napalm consists of 3 missions and the final mission has a big final boss. This time its a soviet plane......chopper thing anyway the point is its big and its bad so be sure to shoot at it a bunch.

Now once again the DLC isn't too hard but the final boss isn't a tank this time, so like last time build alot of Anti tank guns up to level 3 as you can manually guide there missles into the homer. Also build 2 AA guns up to level 2 or 3 (level 2 is faster but 3 does more damage).

Overall this shouldn't be too difficult at all put it on casual if you want the easiest time taking it out. Good luck guys!

Edit - This final mission also has a laser tank stolen from the soviets part way into the level it is very good against tanks but I found it to be not so good against the homer due to its battery giving it a limited amount of usage. But the tank is there and it is very useful earlier in the final mission.

Edit.........again - If you are experiencing achievements glitching from
playing alone and you have tried the clearing of the cache methods etc. Then play the game in coop as I was able to help somebody get their glitched achievements in coop.

And you beat me to this one. Just typed mine out, but I gave the same advice so deleted it.
Would also suggest using the laser tank as much as possible. It's very powerful, especially against theirs.

Haha I did the exact thing with yours hence why I gave it a thumbs up since I did the exact same strategy.

I would add the laser tank to it but I found it pretty useless against the homer compared to AT missles. But never the less it is good advice so I will edit my guide.

Yes the laser tank wasn't so useful for the actual Homer, but it eats through the tanks and infantry it drops. As you say AA and TOW Anti-tank missiles are the way to go.

Its okay man hopefully people find this useful thats all that matters really. And I edited it to mention the laser tank because it is very helpful against the enemy tanks.

yeah I just beat it on normal and no achievement. I can't get the napalm achievement to pop either and I've called 3 napalms in versus mode

Wait did you both beat all three levels right? If so then I have no idea what has gone wrong, I did the first two levels on normal then the final on casual and that didn't have any effect because I still got the achievement. Perhaps clearing your cache may help or redownloading the DLC. Also the napalm achievement in did in multiplayer versus but I assume most people are either boosting for it or simply doing it in local versus.

Seems i'm having the same problem as panic, i beat the first 2 on normal then changed down to casual.
Same with napalm, local coop...nothing.

I find this all very odd since the dog togs popped as it should.

All the achievements worked for me and my friend, so I had no idea they could be glitched. All I can say is keep trying (the game is fun) or try the cache and redownloading techniques just incase. And both DLC's worked for me perfectly.

I have run into the same glitch here. The dogs tags achv went fine, but the Homer one hasn't popped for me on casual or normal.

Redownloaded, everything seprately and tested, recovered GT, only thing I cant test is cache wipeing.

I did all three levels on normal but i've been having problems with the game. I played the second mission co-op with my friend and he got glitched so he couldn't move, my music stopped working, and stuff like that. I'll try redownloading it later and see if that works

That may be an issue with your download of the game, like you said simply redownload everything. Its sad to know the game isn't working properly in some cases.

I downloaded the Napalm mission DLC agaian and tried for a third time. This time when I downed the Homer it finally popped.

I've tried clearing my cache, playing split screen coop, done it a total of about five times and still nothing...anybody got any suggestions?

Glitched for me too, as well as the napalm strike one. The Dog Tags popped up as it was supposed to though.

Great news!!! I too was experiencing this bug along with Heated Rivalry glitching out on me as well. I only bought the Napalm DLC. I just bought the DLC for Evil Empire and I unlocked both the: "The End Of An Odyssey" achievement and the "Heated Rivalry" achievement just now.

This achievement is given for beating the DLC campaign. The Homer is the final boss. The Super Tank is slow and heavily armed, with the ability to drop out tanks and infantry as it pleases. Build your anti-tank guns to Level 3. Also build 2 AA guns up to Level 2 or 3.

Note: Some have found this achievement to be glitchy. If so, completing the mission in co-op should bypass the problem.

Note: This achievement can be gained on casual difficulty.
