This achievement is simple all you got to do is go to your garage and select any car you own (your first car is a London taxi) then press (X) then select the colours you want then save your changes and you should get the achievement you can also paint your car before an event starts by pressing (X) on your car on vehicle select

From the 'Garage' menu, select any category and then any car. You can then customise your car by pressing 
and changing up to 3 colours. Once you are happy with the colours, press 
to save your changes and the trophy should unlock. You can also customise a car from the car selection menu before starting any event.

When choosing your vehicle for an event, press 
to customize your vehicles color. The achievement unlocks after you change a color.
