How to unlock the What a week huh? achievement in Trackmania - Definitive Guide

The easiest week that I've found is from the 6th to the 12th of July 2020. Be aware that you will need the standard subscription to have access to these, and this costs ~£10. These golds still aren't "easy", but they're much more attainable than most other TotD medals. Only tip I can give is to select the gold ghost and watch their lines, they might make use of a shortcut or two. Happy hunting :)

Thanks for this. Got five out the seven pretty quickly and I'm not very good at trackmania games. 6th and 10th of July are pretty tough but not impossible. On two of the tracks the gold ghost crashes so you can afford some small mistakes.

How did you come to find that specific week as the easiest? Is there a leaderboard somewhere with the most amount of gold times?

There's this website https://www.author-tracker.com/player/3bb0d130-637d-46a6-9c1... which lists all of the author times and how many people achieved them. If you scroll to the bottom, you'll see that a lot of the July 2020 ones have a lot of people earning the author times, and I picked what looked like the easiest week. Of course you only need golds for this achievement, but there's a correlation between easy ATs and easy golds.

I can vouch that this is a great week to go for this, it took me about 45 minutes or less (maybe I’m below average). 6th was the hardest and 12th was the easiest for me.

I guess “easiest week” is subjective until someone pulls the leaderboard data. All I know is that the gold times on the recent tracks of the day since console release are very tight on much more technical tracks.

Edit: whoops, didn’t see your comment above OP. Nicely done

Thanks. First track is definitely the hardest so just come back to it later if you think at first you can't do it :D

WARNING! If you do a golden week completely on another platform for example on PC and your account is linked, you will be 99% blocked when you sign in to your xbox.

Unlock by replaying an entire week only on Xbox on July 13/19, 2020.

Nothing against the guide but for people doing every TotD they play with an Author medal be weary of the map on the 9th, Mountain. Due to its bobsleigh at the end it’s a very tight AT to beat.

If you do want to beat that for whatever reason you can check my run here: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/6830244383288199....mov

The 7th has a confusingly designed map but has some shortcuts where you can get author time pretty easily.

This guide is perfect, not sure why there are so many comments. The population was highest at initial launch, so it makes sense that the first ever full week is the easiest. Was able to get 5 of 7 done on first or second try. July 6 is the hardest. July 7 is a little tricky, but easy once the route is known. Did all 7 in about 15 minutes. Thumbs up.

Tbf the last full week has two free ATs so that one could be considered for this achievement as well.

How does the last full week have two free ATs? And is there a spot that tells us this info?

Because they’re piss easy. The Author Tracker linked above is a decent way to determine AT difficulty but I got the aforementioned two on my first and second clear respectively.

Once a Track of the Day has been featured, it can be found in your solo tab (as long as you have a subscription) in a calendar layout. To get the trophy, you need to get a gold medal or better on every track for a full week. For the purposes of the trophy a full week must be a single line on the calendar (Monday > Sunday), you can't overlap and get medals Saturday > Friday. For example, in the image below, the trophy will pop after getting gold on the 28th, not the 26th.
This may come naturally as part of earning Daily Trackmaster trophy_gold.png, but if you are aiming specifically for it, July 2020 and May 2023 (PC release and console release, respectively) are good months to look at. Within these months, the week of 22-28 July 2023 (above) and 6-12 July 2020 (the first full week after game release on each platform) are likely the best shots.
