How to unlock the Island Hopper achievement in Trailmakers - Definitive Guide

I recommend using the Jet on the end in the templates and jumping out of it onto each island then respawning the Jet facing towards the next island. Took me 2 minutes tops.

If anyone is having trouble with this, try using "The Flying Cube" by Px1D4NY. You can find it in Helicopters. It's a white cube, some black, with cyan accents.

The controls are a bit weird at first. On keyboard, it's Space to leave ground/balance out while in flight, press and hold Up to go Upwards, ASWD to tilt Left Right Forwards Backwards. Q and E just seem to spin the cube which isn't much help.

But it can reach 100/kph and as long as you are above the island you can drop out & land on it.

Another tip, you don't even need to be particularly accurate when flying to and between the islands, when you get close press Y to ditch your plane and hold A and you'll float making this super easy. Once you drop to an island press B to respawn your plane and on to the next one.

Hi friends!

There are 6 air islands total that you need to land on. Make sure to grab both of the ones by the blimp - depending on your point of view you may only see one in your camera angle.

If you aren't the greatest at flying a plane around (I certainly struggled with it, lol) - you can use the A button to boost yourself around the island. Holding A down without moving your thumb stick boosts you straight up - move your left thumb stick while holding A to move around. I boosted myself straight up to a decent height and worked my way clockwise around the island to all 6 floating islands. Make sure to physically put your feet on each on before moving on (let go of A completely).

I hope you find this helpful!
