How to unlock the BR 363: Workhorse achievement in Train Sim World 2 - Definitive Guide

It is hard to get a good stretch at a respectable speed and gradient on RSN. What I suggest (and this can be used for most other "x distance" achievements when the loco is specified) is to load up a high speed route like Munchen or the vanilla route with the ICE3 on it, then create a custom service going from one end to the other with the loco you want to work on. You might not need to switch to 'off the rails' but that may or may not prevent you from using your desired loco.

Start the custom service then set the throttle to max, at this point you can save the game when you get to 60 kph, that is its max speed. Then do whatever and set a timer until you reach the end or get SPAD'ed. When you reload the save you can now step away and only need to restart it when that set timer goes off. Still takes a while but is 99% hands free.

Lol well that's a great idea. Wish I'd been smart enough to think of that myself. Thumbs up from me.

FYI, if you have a Cronus you can automate the process and make it 100% hands off.

I agree, though my preference is towards the ConsoleTuner Titan II, just is a bit more durable than my CronusMax+ which is starting to split the shell after so much usage.

I set a script to basically:
if macro1 is not running then run macro1

then just record the macro and all you have to do update for each achievement is re-record a new macro as long as it is the same name

Never tried the Titan, but sounds pretty simple. All I have to edit with my Cronus script is the run length (in terms of 30 second "wait" intervals) before it activates the Back to Menu commands. This assumes you don't need to make any throttle or brake commands (which should be especially easy with your suggested route).
