How to unlock the LPC: I Love Me Tender achievement in Train Sim World 2 - Definitive Guide
I created a Scenario in the Scenario Planner for this one on the Liverpool - Crewe line using the following conditions.
Start point: Crewe Platform 3
End point: Liverpool Lime Street Platform 5
Add no stops and just press confirm.
Train: Jubilee x1 (the shortest length)
Steps to start the train if you need reminding
1. Set Reverser to Forward 75%
2. Fully Release Combination Brake
3. Open the Large Ejector to charge the vacuum brakes to 21bar
4. Open the regulator
5. Remember to close the Cylinder Cocks once you start moving (down to your left)
6. Eventually you can reduce the Reverser to 25-50% Forward
The advantage of doing this is, you won't have problems with red signals, there aren't other trains around and the speed limit is 80-90mph for most of the first 20 miles. Personally I quit out at about 11 miles left to go, when the 55mph marker kicks in.
(I tried to use the Koln route but the train wouldn't release the brakes on that route for some reason, wouldn't have made much difference anyway seeing as this train can't make super high speeds.)
