How to unlock the CL40: Fifteen in the Forty achievement in Train Sim World 2020 - Definitive Guide

Apparently, since the last update, the achievement is not fetchable in all versions of the game. The reason is the newly introduced additional service in June 2020. I unlocked the success in October 2020 using the CD version.

1. Switch the Xbox offline and disable automatic updates.
2. Install the game and the "Northern Trans-Pennine" DLC from the CD, but do not update the game.
3. Switch the Xbox online and install only the "BR Heavy Freight Pack" DLC Do not update the game or the DLC "Northern Trans-Pennine" DLC. The "home console" is required to play the DLC offline.
4. Play the 15 services (save and reload method)
5. Go online with the Xbox, the game will end automatically
6. Update the game, but not the DLC (will be asked when the game starts)
7. tThe Achievement came after about 10 minutes in the main menu of the game.

what is the save and reload method??

It’s where you save right before you complete a service. You then let the service complete, return to the main menu and then pick Last Played. This way you get a credit for running a service without fully running it. Much quicker

I just tried this method and it didn't work for me. I wonder if the US disc version of TSW 2020 has the newer code on it? What is the additional service that was added so I can see if it is part of my disc version? I also have the original TSW disc version which is older but that doesn't have the NTP dlc on it.

As an update, I couldn't unlock this on my Series X but I tried it on my Xbox One disconnected from the internet and then plugged in the connection after 15 services were done and it worked.

Finally got around to trying this again and it worked for me this time on my series X. Thanks for the solution.

Self explanatory achievement but at the time of writing appears to be yet another broken achievemnet as I have completed 27 of the available timetable (15vof them gold medal) and the achievement hasn't popped
