The scenarios might seem a bit daunting but dont worry they are actually quite simple. Follow the markers and BEWARE RED SIGNALS. Passing a signal at danger will cause a fail of the scenario. I went over the speed limit and at times crawled into the station slowly to avoid the red signal. Neither failed the scenarios. Take your time and if lost pause the game to see objectives. Dont worry about getting to your station or destination on timr. Being late is not a fail.
Thanks to SmactSilly: Scenario 4 gets a little tricky since you have to manually switch the tracks during the refueling portion of the scenario. It doesn't tell you that you have to do this or show you where to do it, but it is easy enough to find the manual switches on the tracks if you look around.

Ive done the first scenario but was late to each station (had a red cross) does this count as completed or do I have to get to each station on time.

I think your fine. I think a scenario is only failed if it stops you continuing like if you pass a red signal

On scenario 5, once you couple to the dead hst, don't forget to release the brakes before you get out the 66. I couldn't get above 35mph on the run to Old Oak and couldn't figure out why!

I cannot figure out the re-coupling section in Scenario 4 for the life of me (after refuelling). I have the objective over the couples and it won't tell me what I need to do to couple the trains. Can anyone shed some light on this part?
I literally have the 2 couples touching but it won't let me join them together.

having a mare with the first 66 scenario. it just does not want to register that i've pulled back onto the goods loop once i've emptied the aggregate trucks! if it registers that one it won't register that i'm at the next set of sidings! that and other issues make me glad i'm playing it on gamepass

Scenario 5 is expecting me to wait 20 minutes real-time before completing the mission. Hopefully I’ve missed something because that’s ridiculous.
I’d also struggled with coupling on an earlier scenario. I had to back up until there was air between the two bumpers. It wouldn’t let me couple when they were touching

Definitely use the map to switch the tracks on the 4th scenario. Also, you have to change more than one switch during the refuelling procedure.

In scenario 5 you can hold left on the d pad and select "Contact Signaller" to change the red signal after the stop at Kennet Bridge Loop

I would like to note to save your game every now and then! You don't wanna waste 30 minutes just to barely pass a marker and have to restart again.

I'm completely stuck with scenario 5. I'm being told to "STOP AT LOCATION - Train Maintenance Shed", but there is a red signal at 6083 that I cannot get rid of. I've tried restarting multiple times, and tried Contact Signaller like NickCremonez said to, but nothing has changed.
Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? Or have a clip of them doing it?

I’ve just done a different scenario and this had red lights as well but as long as the signaller oks it I could move forward. Only on maintenance and manoeuvre type jobs I think, not passenger services.

Just tried the Scenario Drag Line and the only problem was that I had to wait at a red light for 15 mins as I got there too early. Current time is on the speedometer.

I got stuck at the red signal on the loop into the yard on 5 too (after waiting 20m because this game is insane). I guess it's a bug. Just never changes, and "Contact Signaller" does literally nothing, no response.
I tried 3 times, the whole scenario (because I am insane).

Aggregate Industries is a bitch. Remember that you have to uncouple, recouple and refuel by physically leaving the train and going to the objective marker and interacting. I also got stuck at the end where I was sitting at a red light for ages but turns out I needed to change tracks using the points.

I successfully completed Drag Line yesterday, not sure if patched or one-off but worth retrying if you got a red 6083 before.
Didn't have to change any points (switches).

Do not save in scenario 5 or you would find yourself in a red 6083 signal problem.

drag line is to complete in one sitting . don´t load a save ! otherwise you get a red signal . you can´t move to maintance shed !

Just to add, on scenario 4. You can use switches from the map screen (back button on controller). Zoom in, hover over the switch and hit A. You see the purple line change indicating what route the train will take. Much faster than getting out and switching, which I also found to be buggy as it just showed a red circle on the cursor often for me.
