Goto - Home - Training Centre- Explore on foot.
Start At Nav Hub, where all the trains are.
I used the high-speed Javelin, the blue South Eastern train.
Goto map, check all switch levers are set to take the train around the big loop.
Open full throttle on train and leave it.
Do 50, 100, 150 miles.
Have fun.

I think they may have patched this now.
Left the train running in a loop for an hour. And it didnt record any distance travelled.
