Train Sim World 5

For those that haven't played a Train Sim World game before and have to get the achievement naturally.

Go to Scenario Planner, create your own scenario, Set the start point to Main Loop Track 1, then select Main Loop 1 to Switch Line 2, and end route at Main Loop West 1. Then just start the train and make sure you cruise at a speed under the speed limit and then just leave it. The train will loop around and around. Will take a few hours so go watch a movie or something and just make sure it doesn't go idle etc.

As easy as driving any train for 500 miles. Obvious solution is obvious.

I wanted to add this guide, though, to say that this will unlock if you have unlocked it on the previous iterations of the game, without having to hit the criteria again on this version, at least, in my experience! Mine unlocked once I was playing a scenario outside of the training center, and it unlocked all the achievements before it as well at the same time.

EDIT: you do need to import your previous game character/data when prompted by the game to do so.

Drive 500 miles in total using any trains while staying under the speed limit (that's the important bit that the name of achievement doesn't tell you until it pops!), this is cumulative so all journeys within scenarios and custom scenarios will count up but mileage during training modules don't seem to count. If you switch on Achievement Tracker you will see how close you are as it updates in real time.

I set up a custom scenario with the loop training track and just left this running to get this and all the other distance achievements, but if you plan on doing the DLC achievements too I would leave these to last as you will get most if not all of the mileage you need for these just from doing the DLCs.
