If you are like me and started the game straight away in hard, you will have to get life upgrades to reach the end.
Anyway, once you're done, you may be wondering, if you can remove the upgrades ? You can't.
If you can change the difficulty ? You can't either.
But after a few minutes looking for a way to avoid deleting my save, you can just make another save in game and switch between your saves as many times as you wish.
From the main menu, just go to "profiles" and then just make another save with both difficulties set to easy.
About the achievement itself, it's pretty much self explanatory, in easy you'll not have much issues, don't upgrade your life on the far left, I'm not sure about shield's upgrades, but don't upgrade them either, just in case.

I did my first playthrough on Hard/Hard and upgraded everything except the life upgrades on the far left. Achievement popped after completing Sample 25 so feel free to grab shield upgrades as you go.
