How to unlock the Sand Blaster Challenger achievement in Transformers: The Game - Definitive Guide

This achievement is rather hard to get. There are 4 sub-missions to complete.

Sumo (Found to the North West Supply Depot) - This requires a little bit of luck as there are several planes that will fly over head dropping bombs, causing you to get knocked out of the ring, this happens a lot. 2 options, shoot the planes, or just hope you get lucky next time.

Scavenger (Found to the South of the main Military base) - Probably the hardest sub-mission. Basically you need to collect 20 purple cogs within 5 minutes. Easy right? However you are the worst Decepticon, Scorponok. Also there are tonnes of planes and vehicles shooting at you, making this sub-mission hell.

Here is a map and has the order in which you should attempt to get the cogs. This is pure luck. Just try to stay underground or in cover as much as possible. When I got it, the enemies sorta glitched and didn't attack me until I had 5 cogs left.

Destruction (Found at West Military Base) - This is easy. Just go around as Scorponok and destroy every building until 100% before the time limit goes out. Tents and large hangers are worth a lot so go for those first. Stay away from Autobots as they will kill you.

Attack (Found at the North East Supply Depot) - This is relatively easy, just go around killing all autobots. Again watch out for planes and helicopters as they do start attacking you again.

This is my own guide through experience, not copy and pasted from somewhere. Hope it helps.

Just a quick additional tip to add to the good advice above.

Use your RB attack on the aircraft during all missions as it keeps the pressure off, it makes the Scavenger a great deal easier.

Also use RB on the buildings during the Destroy mission, RT just isn't powerfull enough.

Finally during the Sumo, keep the aircraft under control and try to stay away from the tanks in the middle, when they blow, they release a massive shockwave that can push you out of the ring, most annoying, but then that's how this game is.

My mistake it's not the tanks but the aircraft that cause the large shockwaves, all the more reason to RB them out of the sky before they get a chance to

The best tip I can add for the scavenger mission here is LOOK UP!!! The camera pans to the floor mostly but if u pan it up and take out the aircraft as soon as they are in targetting range you wont have a problem.

For anyone having problem's with Scavanger - Here is a map I've thrown together to give a very rough idea where everything is: https://imgur.com/a/Ugl5C2E

One small advise for the cog mission is to take the time and shoot down the helicopters for health and some breathing room. Use the map to memorize the location of the cogs and do whatever is necessary to stay alive

Completed all 4 sub-missions for the first Decepticon mission "Soccent Military Base".

The COG locations for the Scoponok mission seem to be giving people trouble, so here is a map for those. [Thanks to Mystery Mango for finding it.]
