How to unlock the Grimlock, Smash! achievement in Transformers: War for Cybertron - Definitive Guide

While the above videos are very helpful, for those who want to pinpoint checkpoints to get to the symbols quickly, here is a list of the locations to where they are in the videos (these do carry over through playthroughs, no need to play the game all at once):

Chapter VI: (5/25)
Iacon Under Siege
Broken Lift
Iacon Speedway
Central Ventilation Systems
Inside Decagon

Chapter VII: (10/25)
Courtyard
Megatron's Ambush > To the Dungeons
Hangar
Final Approach (this section has 2)

Chapter VIII: (15/25)
Omega's Holding Cell
A Plague of Corruption
Cybertron Slugs (turn around and get symbol quickly before cutscene begins)
Sea of Corruption (this section has 2)

Chapter IX: (20/25)
Attack on the Relay Station
Coolant Chamber
The Nerve Center
Approaching Trypticon
Decepticion Destroyers

Chapter X: (25/25)
The Threat Emerges (this section has 4 symbols)
The Battle Continues

If I am playing through a campaign and miss one...can I go BACK and get it. Or do I have to get all 25 in a single play through a campaign/level?

You can go back anytime you want, do not have to obtain all in one playthrough no matter what difficulty. Once you get one it saves and adds to the achievement and you can exit and reload another checkpoint.

Great guide overall, just one small flaw: There isn't a Decepticon Symbol in "Cybertron Slugs", it's located in "A Plague of Corruption". You might want to change to two symbols on "A Plague of Corruption".(sorry for knitpicking)

@Herr Karamell - I just used the info from the video description provided by MrKennyKRH. To tell the truth I haven't played for a long time so I don't really know when it takes place. From looking at the video it seems it may be at the transition between the two chapters, I can only assume that if you load up this chapter and section it places you at this point.

I followed the video and the check point list and had no problems anywhere thanks guys 4 making it easy. I thought I had to do a hole play through but no you guys and the checkpoints thanks guys 4 making it quick

Chapter 7 is wrong
There isnt one at 'Megatrons Ambush', Its 'To The Dungeons' (where megatron sends you) ;-)

Does anyone know if there is a way to reset them all? I deleted my checkpoint and cleared my system cache. Anything else I can try?

@ NinjaKUIK: I tried starting To the Dungeons and it put me outside the prison. Idk if thats just me, but Megatron's Ambush worked for me

I wish there was a way to reset them I followed them all and theres one missing in Aerial Assault.

I just wish to add here that remember to exit to the lobby first if you are going to end your session. Because if not and you shut down your xbox you lose that/those symbols what you have get last.

That happened to me and the game almost break me because I was missing two symbols in the end. And I was hosting the game and my coop partner get the achievement in the end.

The last video only has FOUR symbols in it.

Meaning this guide only has 24/25 of the symbols required.
