I'm assuming if you miss one, you have to collect them all again on a new playthrough? Or does the game save the ones you already picked up and carry them over to a new game?

You can take only what you missed, but it will be necessary to know exactly which one, because the new playthrough will show none of collected. I missed 2 in chapter 3, did a speed run and worked.

Hello !
Here's my full 100% walkthrough video for Trek to Yomi where i collected everything possible in the game.All 60 Artifacts for
and all Upgrades (Health,Stamina and Ammo) and Skills for
Artifacts are various relics to grab.
Health and Stamina Upgrades are small bottles like potions.
But Ammo Upgrades and Skills and be obtained in 2 ways:
Be careful,there's no chapter select mode !
Thankfully,you don't have to collect everything in one run.I unlocked my last skill in Chapter 4,during my 3rd run,and the achievement unlocked immediatly :)
