How to unlock the Unbreakable Will achievement in Trepang2 - Definitive Guide
DISCLAIMER: I will not be going through each and individual level on Rage Mode, only the ones that are objectively ridiculously difficult.
Now to start this off, what is required in terms of your load out will primarily consist of the Dual Wield Incendiary Shotguns and Smart Gun LMG and occasionally the Dual Wield Grenade Launchers, regular nades are good up until Horizon HQ.
For overall gameplay I will assume most of you who are attempting this are familiar with the gameplay, you also can't go into this mode with the mindset of previous modes, never take an engagement without Slow-mo or Active Camo, abuse the movement bonus from kills, you never really wanna be standing still unless you desperately need cover, always use the slide it's a godsend for survivability.
Korvik Castle
This map is the first real challenge, the start is easy enough, once you reach the house area where the TF27 were ambushed and slaughtered, I recommend using the grenade launcher found on the table to eliminate the 2 Cultist platoons quickly, after that make sure you have Dual Wield Shottys with the Choke attachment for the Flesh golem, you can use Tomahawks and Knives on him they are quite effective, the trick to beating this boss is to run slide and attack, keep that rhythm and he'll die, after that equip the Incendiary attachment on your shotguns then proceed to the courtyard, then once you've been lowered down to the library this is where the torture begins, make sure you have full armour and health here, I struggled a lot because I had low health, what I found to work best was to be passive aggressive, Slow-mo attack Cloak and take cover, I did this on repeat very methodically and eventually did it, afterwards you will soon be at the final boss, I personally wouldn't be intimidated by him, he is extremely weak to the Bolt Launcher so make sure all 3 shots stick to him, when the minions spawn use them as a way to gain Slow-mo and focus thr Patriarch and ignore the flesh golem and you will make short work of him.
Crashsite
This I really struggled with because of dreadful checkpoints, what I did was use a single Incendiary Shotgun for ammo preservation and a Smartgun LMG, also there's a secret on this map, if you go to the cockpit area, next to the chair on the left there's breach charges, use them for supplies incredibly helpful, this mission only gets difficult when the juggernauts come into the equation, trick for them is to use the Smartgun LMGs magnetic bullets, take cover and shoot into the sky they'll target them melting their hp, once the snipers spawn pickup a DMR and find a nice headglitch and use Camo and Slow-mo on them, for the next segment repeat the strategy with the LMG and you'll be done.
Horizon HQ
Goddamn this mission is the definition of insanity, I don't think I need to explain what to do at the early stages of this level, so I'll get into the hardest part, the finale, now don't make the same mistake I did and focus on destroying the brains too much, make sure you kill as many of the fuckers as possible with Dual Wield Incendiary Shotguns, always stock up on armour, health and ammo, you will die a lot on this part so be patient, remember to keep rotating the arena and keep listening to enemy foot steps because these are the toughest enemies in the game, I've had instances where I was prefired whilst invisible, made me go nuts, after the first set of brains there'll be a section where the brains won't be up, this is your chance to take it slow and hunt down everyone, after that you'll get a checkpoint, this is your moment to go crazy, I became an absolute speed demon here, I recommend you all do the same and be fast asf taking out the brains, once your friendly chopper has arrived make sure to kill everyone and stock up on LMG ammo and make sure it's a normal one not a Smartgun, then when Horizon One appears unload on that mf, don't worry about the troops they despawn after the chopper has been destroyed and boom you're done, you'll get the achievements when you're back at base, you don't even have to do the final mission.
Let us know if there has been any problems with this guide, good luck with this one.

I vaguely remember another guide that said Incen shotty dealt friendly fire? Did they patch that out?
Only played the prologue-level on rage so far and it was enough to put the game on the backburner for a long time

Some tips for completing Rage Mode:
Start playing on this difficulty only after collecting all weapon modifications and completing all missions on at least hard to unlock access to all weapons in the shelter.
Most missions are completed with a shotgun with incendiary rounds and a homing grenade launcher. Burning enemies restore your focus, and the grenade launcher will allow you to effectively deal with enemies from behind cover.
In the settings, switch the movement while crouching to , and sliding on , in combat try to use sliding as often as possible, enemies will hit you less often, but your aiming assistance will work great.
For the mission in the castle, be sure to take a minigun with homing rounds instead of a grenade launcher; it will significantly simplify the battle with the first boss, and will also help you get through one or two phases of the last boss without much effort.
In additional tasks with hacking servers, you can take the hacker hostage on the first wave and hide from the enemies, so you can hack several servers without clashing with enemies.
