How to unlock the Hey Mom, Look At Me! achievement in Trials Evolution - Definitive Guide
Hey folks,
I found a more " simpler " way of gaining this achievement. Now, i dont know if it was left in intentionally by Redlynx or whether it is a cheat/glitch but there is a ledge in which you can land on with BOTH wheels touching the ground and still continue and get the achievement. If you have tried and tried with no resolve doing a wheelie through the whole " Nuthouse " and you want the achievement desperatley, i suggest this method. Im posting a video to show how its done and which ledge allows you to settle yourself before continuing..
Also, i had already done the achievement on my own account so i used my girlfriends account to do it and to show the achievement at the end for proof that it works.
Hope this little guide helps :)

Just wanna had something to all the solution above because i think that it will be important to let you know it before you tried it to many times.
First of all this achievement takes some skill and a lot of practice. It requires you to play on the first track of the DLC "Carnival of Rust". You have to start from the last checkpoint of the track (just before the red line on the ground) and going throught the end on a wheelie. Your front wheel must never touch the ground or a clown will start laughing and this is the signal that you fail for the achievement.
When i got the achievement i had tried before the scorpion and the pheonix without any succes (more than 100 fail on bot of them) so i decided to use the new Gecko 520 (BMX) and got it on my 11 try.
Big tips DO NOT OVERGASS or you will instantly fail.
Hopefully this is going to help some of you guys
Thanks and have fun on the new DLC
PS : First solution i ever post
And english isn't my first language

Couldn't do it with the phoenix after a couple of hundred faults, but did it with ease after reading this guide and using the Gecko.

The following video I recorded will show you the strategies I used to get the achievement. To earn it, you will need to wheelie through the Nuthouse in the track Carnival of Rust. Choose the Phoenix bike. After the red line, you must not touch any part of the ground with your front wheel. You must make it past the finish line only on your back wheel. Also, a good thing to remember while trying for this achievement is that if you hear the clown laugh, that is an indicator that your front wheel touched the ground.
NOTE: I have purposely not edited the video so that you could see more of the strategy required to get the achievement. However, if you simply want to see the successful attempt, go to 1:08 in the video (it is fault 306). Also, the achievement does not pop at the end because I already got it prior to recording and this was from the saved replay. Hope this helps everyone get the achievement. It's not that easy I'm not gonna lie :)
Good luck !
Oh by the way, if you are going to downvote my solution, explain why so I could fix any issues with it.

I also used the Gecko, found it a hell of a lot easier and did it in about 150 attempts.

Wheelie through the Nuthouse in track “Carnival of Rust”
This is the very last section of the very first track in the DLC. Immediately after the checkpoint there is a red line on the floor. Your front wheel can't touch the ground between here and the finish line. If it does, you will hear evil laughter, letting you know you've failed. There are three or four different laughters, some start immediately, some have a slight delay.
Firstly, I'd recommend heading to the options and turning the music off, as it will drive you mad.
For the bike, I used the Phoenix, just as I'm most comfortable with it, but that doesn't mean the others won't be better for you. Pick whichever you feel best about.
There are three sections that cause problems: the initial climb up the concertina; the landing just after it, and the landing near the end after the three steps down. The rest is pretty basic balancing.
To start off, if you have your rider in the middle position he will pop a wheelie as soon as you floor it. Then when you get to the green board (the very first obstacle) if you snap the rider backwards, forwards, and backwards again quickly you should hit the concertina just above the halfway point on the back wheel - there is a slight lump where it turns inverse to converse. If you land below the lump, hit 'B' as you won't make it.
When you get to the top of the concertina go very easy on the accelerator - remember it is possible to hold a wheelie without using gas, and just letting momentum take you forwards. Landing on the next section is probably the hardest part. Too fast and you'll land the front wheel, too slow and you won't make it. The important thing here is not to over accelerate when you land - if you over balance backwards you will be extremely lucky to save it, because of the angle of the landing platform.
The next section is fairly straight forward - wheelieing up the hill and down the steps is straightforward balancing and little bursts of gas. The next section is made easier if you take it slower, but from here it is possible to tank it and sketch it to the end.
Landing just before the last jump is much like the previous landing, but not as tricky - the angle is easier and you can save yourself from over balancing. After the landing you can pretty much just punch it over the last jump and across the finish line.
I imagine different people tackle it in different ways, but this is the way that worked best for me.
Hope it helps, and above all good luck!

There is no trick to getting this achievement, it takes a lot of control and practice. Some people prefer the scorpion as it is less prone to flipping but for that reason I actually went with the phoenix as it's easier to adjust how much you're leaning and angle it right to wheelie.
This achievement is found on the very first level Carnival of Rust, right at the end the entrance of the nuthouse is marked with a red line and there is a checkpoint right before it.
Couple of tips:
When your front wheel hits the ground (and it will!) you will hear a clown chuckle, it can vary slightly and due to the annoying circus music is sometimes hard to hear so I went into options and turned the music down to 0, otherwise you might make it to the end thinking you got away with a close call, have no achievement pop and have to restart the level.
Although it may be tempting to lean back full throttle the gas and hope for luck you will find short sharp revs allow easier control and adjustment.
Lastly if you're completely new to the concept of wheelies there are a few user created custom tracks which could help you practice, the acrobat style series by WeeD x ShoOTz, and there are a few wheelie challenge levels.
Good luck!

Hi there just a video showing how I got the achievement. I could not do a wheelie and stop on the ledge as mentioned in other solutions I kept faulting.
Hope this helps some people that are struggling. Please comment before leaving negative votes. Thank you.
