How to unlock the A Wolf in Wolf's Clothing achievement in Trials Fusion - Definitive Guide

EDIT: PATCHED. NO LONGER WORKING.

So everyone knows you have to get to level 50 and then buy all 3 levels of the Contender Outfit in the Garage. But what if, like me, you suck at Fusion and can't get to level 50?

No fear the hard working people at Track Central have you covered. Search for "XP" and play the Beginner Track named XP for Days. Be careful as there are some NOT so easy imitators. This track starts and stops at the exact same point so it is a INSTANT xp boost every time for doing nothing. So just sit there and hit RETRY until you get bored and want to see your progress. You will level up VERY FAST.

Just to add, you don't have to press the Retry button multiple times. You can just hold down the button or rubber band it. I got 6,000 XP in less than 3 mins.

I started at lvl 40 and 10 mins later I was lvl 50 +

Confirmed, with new DLC that requires you to be rider level 100, this no longer works.

The new DLC doesn't require for you to be level 100, as said above, level 50 still works to buy all the "Contender" clothing, but the retrying the same track doesn't work.

I followed the instructions set out above by by PiCkLE SQU1D and it worked great as of 12th Nov 2017.

Another popular search term is "XP Boost". Got from level 40 to level 50 very quickly. Thank you.

PiCkLE SQU1D's post works great. One thing to add that I found out, look up by Trials only. That is the only that will give XP. Also it doesn't matter the difficulty. So any difficulty will work, the quicker it has you finish the more xp you will get.

Tried this July 2019...
Holding retry did almost nothing. 2 rank ups in 10 min. Playing each Xp map posted twice ranked up faster

For anyone still trying to get quick xp there is over 100 pages of xp tracks, you just need to look at the leaderboards to make sure the finishing times are all 00:00.016. You can do each of them once for 500xp each.

This is how you do it now if you're in a rush to get XP. Note: It still takes a while.

You want to search the following...
XP Glitch and set the difficult to Extreme
Also game type has to be set to Trials

EDIT: It seems the XP is random as I have gotten 500XP on easy difficulty. Some don't reward any XP while some reward very little. None reward XP twice. To not waste too much time, only do the ones with high ratings. Once you run out of tracks to complete, search something different such as "Easy XP". I will list below a few examples of what you could search.

XP Glitch
Easy XP
Quick XP
Fast XP
Simple XP
Level up Fast

Now just work your way down the list and complete each one. Your name is on the leaderboards to the right letting you know you completed that track already. If you run out of tracks on extreme, go a difficulty down and work on those.

Once the level completes, make sure to give it a thumbs up and Continue. Then move onto the next one. Slower but still doable. You get 500XP for the extreme tracks when getting Platinum.

The first requirement for this achievement is to get to Level 50, which will unlock the first full set of clothing for your rider. Now, head to the garage, and buy all 9 available items under the "Contender" category which will cost you approximately $15,000. Upon purchasing all 9 items, the achievement will unlock.

how many medals does it take to reach 50? I have gold in everything up to the second to last event and silver on most of the others. Just no medals on the extreme tracks. I'm at Level 46.

I'm at 199/212 medals, and level 79. Just focus on doing challenges, and play some Track Central tracks to raise your Track Central level as well!

Right, I was wondering if the Track Central tracks contributed to anything. I saw a separate bar so I assumed it wouldn't go to your total level.

Yes track central does work! Someone made a track where you get 50xp every second. You just keep resetting the level every time you bail... Very self explanatory but very easy! Right now it's under the top skill games set list! Just a head up for anyone trying to grind to 50

@fighterx93chipp, Do you know the name of the track?

By hunterIV on 21 Apr 2014 09:34
It's called "50xp Everytime You Reset". Literally just wait for it to give you a medal and hit select or w/e it is now to restart. Once you hit go to results, it gives you 50xp * the number of medals/resets.

Get your rider to lvl 50 then buy all the contender clothing costs $18,000 for all 3 helmets, shirts, & pants. If you can't get to lvl 50 on your own go to track central and search for "XP". Doing the same track over and over again won't work anymore, look for tracks with the name "glitch" or some !!! after them. They will all be either easy or medium difficulty. I was lvl 47 on my own and went to lvl 50 in less than 10 mins.

The first time you can unlock this trophy is when you reach level 50 (this unlocks the 3rd tier of the contender suit) If your strugglin to reach level 50 just go to track central and search for a track called "xp for days" it's a track thats finishes as soon as it starts and the rinse and repeat progress is super quick as you can keep pressing the retry button and it keeps adding all your xp together. Hope this helps toast
Note- I already had the other 6 items unlocked in contender before I purchased the 3rd tier stuff, so if it doesn't pop you may have to buy all 9 items...

Just to clarify: You do need all 9 pieces of the outfit.

I just hit level 50 yesterday, and bought the tier 3 Contender suit, and the trophy didn't pop. It popped when I went back in and bought the other tier 1 and 2 pieces I was still missing.

Thanks for this guide, I had the same issue as DrNefario, trophy didn't pop until I'd bought ALL items of the contender suit and then re-equipped the 3rd tier :)

They must have patched it because you can't just keep restarting the same "xp for days" track over and over and gaining xp. You only get xp for the first time you complete it. But there are a lot of them so you can set one time on all of them and still get a decent amount of xp. Once you finish the "xp for days" ones just search for "xp" and there are currently 98 pages of them (with some XPL unrelated ones mixed in).

You need to buy all the presented equipment options, including the first, second and third levels, and not just the third.
