I followed the guide perfectly and got the challenge but no achievement. Maybe you must zero fault it

Now I see, it was an Audio Log!!! LOL. I hadnt gone for that achievement yet. Still dont know why the game stuck me there. But i was to the right of the audio log, behind those two green stripes.

NEVERMIND, it says I have it unlocked now. I guess it unlocked once I reloaded my xbox/the game or while my xbox was off.

Just want to confirm that Faults have NO impact on this achievement & challenge. If you make a mistake for any reason though, rather then restarting the race, pressing B will return you to the entrance of the maze checkpoint, where you can start over. What was unusual tho, the first time I touched the glowing orb, after the cutscene I was glitched into a wall of sorts. Unable to progress, and there was a weird jukebox looking machine I could see through the wall. Very strange. When I reverted to the checkpoint and ran back, it worked fine.

This achievement is for doing the secret first person maze on the deeper underground level. About halfway through there is a no bike sign in the background, when you get to that checkpoint press Y to bailout and you will go into first person and be able to walk around. Below is a video on how to get through the maze for the challenge and achievement. Also sorry for all the crashing at the start of the level I was kind of in a rush and its also not too important as it doesn't matter how many faults you have, you can still do the challenge.

One thing to note if you don't want to make an extra trip, one of the squirrels is in this maze. I'll check my replay later today, but I believe it's near 3:12 in the video. He comes to a room and you can see a hallway, but instead he turns left. Go down the hallway and you should come to a closed door. Turn left and go all the way down the hallway to the dead end, you should pass several more doors. Turn around and go back, but about a third of the way back, you should hear a click. Turn back around and the furthest door on the left should now be open. Enter the cell and push against the wall at the end and it should open up into a tunnel, with the squirrel at the end of it.

There's also an audio log somewhere in the maze towards the end of it after you get teleported to the foggy world BUT it's before you touch the big chain thing).

I should add that you can see the audio log with its button in one of the locked cells but you can't access it until later (after you are teleported to the foggy world).

Once you reach the 9th checkpoint, bail off your bike to go into first-person view. Then follow a long and somewhat complex path until you eventually reach a TV screen. Once the video begins to play, you will complete the challenge and get the trophy.

This is probably the easiest trophy in this DLC. You need to play on 'Deeper Underground' map, and take the lower riding line (which you'll probably do anyway, since it's the easier one). You'll get to a checkpoint with a crossed out bike sign. After you trigger the checkpoint, simply bail from the bike to enter first person mode.

While earning this trophy, I highly recommend you also pick up the hidden Audio Log which can be found right after you enter the light. Check Log Lady video at 5:27 mark for exact location). Otherwise you'll have to go through FPS mode one more time to get there again.
