How to unlock the Rhetoric & Romance achievement in Trials Fusion - Definitive Guide

There are 5 SynDI dates available in the After the Incident DLC, which are tracked as squirrels within the game. To trigger a date, you'll need to find a glowing blue metal cylindrical tube, and land your rider near it. You MUST watch the entire date for it to count! They are as follows:
1 - Force Majeure - Continue through the track after about 30 seconds of average speed through, you'll need to land on a ramp in front of you and then reverse a little to find this.
2 - Forgotten Peak - You'll go through the level and reach a small earthquake/avalanche behind you. On the checkpoint directly after it, fall downwards (under the track) and then bail under this area in order to start the date.
3 - Overflow - Continue through the level until you reach a semi-circle obstacle that you need to go over. Instead of going over, you'll want to hook your tire over the edge, bail down and backwards to find a ladder and a small hole. Fall into the hole to start the date.
4 - Storm Chaser - About 15 seconds into the level, go into the barn, go to the bottom area, and reverse.
5 - Static Discharge - (Same as Lightning Rod Part #3) After the "backflip" checkpoint, go forward, up some stairs, and instead of going forward using the short vertical ramp, reverse down the stairs into a small room. From this room, gain a little speed, and bail up and forward to find the last date.

So all along SynDI was an anthropomorphic squirrel with teased hair? Somewhere along the line the plot of this game went completely off the rails.

I found the 4th and 5th ones by myself, and then used your guide for the 1st and 2nd, and the achievement unlocked. I confirmed I hadn't actually gotten the third yet by going and earning it and seeing that my squirrel count did indeed go up. I'm not sure if this means the achievement is buggy in general or that just the third one isn't required as I wasn't keeping track of the percentages.

The 5th one is best with the Roach, I spent about an hour with the pit viper until I realized the Roach was better, also, thanks for the guide Maka.

For the 5th one, I found it much easier to just move the bike slightly forward from the checkpoint and bail straight across from there.

Currently broken I think. I got credit for the 5 squirrels, but only credit for 4 of 5 dates. And before you say it, yes I waited until the end of the date multiple times

How did you get this to unlock, DrSickmaster? I've watched them all twice now but still no achievement.

Anyone else found a fix for this? I'm stuck on 80% after meeting the requirements four times. I've tried a hard reset and deleting my local save. Not ready to delete my save from everywhere, but it's looking like that might be the only option.

The squirrel achievement in the Awesome Level Max DLC got stuck on 80% for me as well. Redoing the squirrels on the same save won't do anything as the tracker only updates when you get the squirrel for the first time and it adds to your total. If it doesn't for whatever reason, you're out of luck. I fixed it by deleting my local save, playing offline and redoing all the squirrels (unfortunately means having to replay most of the main game again to unlock all the tracks), then when I quit to dashboard and went back online, the achievement popped after a few seconds.

This is similar to the squirrel trophies from other DLC's. You need to find 5 hidden dates, and watch their cutscenes to completion in order for the trophy to pop (you know the scene is complete when the squirrel count increments in upper right corner of the display).

The five dates are located on the following maps:

  1. Force Majeure
  2. Forgotten Peak
  3. Overflow
  4. Storm Chaser
  5. Static Discharge
