How to unlock the Treasure Seeker achievement in TRIALS of MANA - Definitive Guide

This achievement seems to be tied to each playthrough as I have not yet unlocked the achievement for 200 chests on my second playthrough.

Easy to miss chests are everywhere on the map, with some requiring looking into the background, foreground, hidden on ledges, under staircases, behind screens, leap of faiths, or even under sand waterfalls.

Once you progress far enough into Lil Cactus collecting; an early prize will reveal a specific quantity of chests per map making it slightly easier to know how many left to find on any given map. I unlocked this one in early Chapter 6 of my first playthrough.

Can be gotten as early as chapter 2. Got it either liberating Laurent or on the ghost ship (probably Laurent), though I was being vigilant about collecting chests (thanks to said Lil Cactus bonus). I think starting as Kevin, Angela or Hawkeye gives a slight bonus for getting this ASAP as their scenarios give access to later locations (and their chests) right away
