About 30 seconds into the level you will approach a laser pit with a skull symbol in the middle of it on the ground. Your objective is to step on the skull plate, and then stay in the pit for 30 seconds while avoiding the lasers. You will need to jump and duck to avoid these lasers, but you must remain in the pit for the entire 30 seconds for the achievement to unlock. Whenever you restart from the checkpoint (which is right in front of the laser pit) the laser sequence will reset, making the pattern relatively easy to memorize. In the background, there's a semi-circle that will start filling up red to indicate your progress. Once all 30 seconds are complete, the lasers in the pit will turn off and your achievement will unlock.
I did manage to record my successful attempt at this achievement. The very beginning is cut off, but it's pretty easy to figure out. The hard parts are all included.

Level - R&D
Follow the level for a short while until you reach the pit of lasers with a skull on the floor. Once you hit the skull a timer will begin, shown on-screen in the background with lights gradually illuminating on a timer. Avoid the lasers until semi-circle of lights has been filled, the lasers will turn off and you will get the achievement.
Video shows a good place to stand to avoid lasers and the entire level up to this point.

Early on in the mission, you will reach a laser pit and you must survive inside of it for 30 seconds. The pattern is the same every time, so you can remember a specific pattern of jumping that works for you. The lasers disappear after 30 seconds and the achievement will unlock.

Mission 13: R&D
Near the very beginning of the mission is a pit with 4 lasers and a skull button in the middle. You have to survive in the pit for 30 seconds after stepping on the skull button
Here was my technique:
Nozza, XBA
This can be obtained in level #13 ‘R&D’. About 1 minute into the level you’ll come to a checkpoint and just past it you’ll see four sets of lasers. Your task here is to survive in this “pit” of lasers for 30 seconds. The pattern and speed of all the lasers is the same each time, so if you die just hit 
to go back to the checkpoint and reset the lasers.
To start the in-game timer for this challenge, you’ll need to make sure you hit the skull button in the middle first. If at anytime this turns off it means you’ve jumped out of the area and need to restart. Once this lights up red, your 30 seconds will begin. Only when the lasers turn off, will you have survived 30 seconds. This can be a challenge, but remember you don’t always have to be moving and sometimes it’ll take a combo of jumping and crouching to dodge the lasers.
