Platinum medals don’t show until you actually unlock one.
On El Tomate, which is in the second batch of tracks, there’s a racing line that makes a platinum fairly easy.
You’ll see that in the second half of the run I wasn’t smooth and still got the platinum. It’s all about getting the fast line after checkpoint two and stopping in the catapault after checkpoint five.
