How to unlock the Cannonball Rebound achievement in Trine 2: Complete Story - Definitive Guide

This can be easily done with either the Knight or Wizard. Once the grenadier fires the cannon, simply shield push / levitate the ball to the grenadier and leave it at his feet. It may take a second hit if the cannonball wasn't directly next to him, but more than likely he'll go down after the first.

The video above shows a complex method. It is much easier to bring the cannonballs with a magician, rather than push them with a knight.

Done at level 14.
