How to unlock the Experienced Hunter achievement in Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince - Definitive Guide
There are four types of collectibles in this game. There are letters, treasures, knickknacks, and experience bottles. For this trophy, you need to collect all experience bottles in all levels. There are a total of 1,920 experience bottles to find. To see the locations of all collectibles, look here: Trine 4: The Nightmare Prince ~ Collectibles Guide.
Additionally, in this game, you are able to use experience points gained by collecting items and killing enemies, to unlock new, optional abilities. Press the at any time to access this list. Not all of them will be available to purchase at any time because they are usually tied to one of the automatic abilities that you learn as you progress through the story. In the skill tree menu, these are differentiated by shape – the rectangular shaped skills are the ones you'll learn automatically, whereas the circular ones are the abilities you'll be able to purchase. In my opinion, the most important ones to purchase as soon as you are able to are: 1) The ability for each character (Blink for Amadeus, Dash/roll for Zoya and Charge for Pontius) and 2) The final skill in Pontius' tree, which turns the Light image of his Shield magnetic.
