How to unlock the Wedge Off Winner achievement in Trivial Pursuit - Definitive Guide

A 'Wedge Off' is a bonus game in 'Facts and Friends' mode.

The bonus game will give you the opportunity to flat out win an opponents wedge. The mini game consists of a series of True/False questions. If you pick the Bonus Game(Bonus Games are random, so you may need to try a few times) and get a wedge off, simple answer correctly until your parter slips up and you will win the wedge in question.

If you want to make it easier, simply play 2 player with one controller and you controlling both. Don't forget to make sure you earn the second player a wedge, so they have one to win! This way, you can also make the second player answer incorrectly when the wedge off comes round.

An easier way than to go for the bonus games is for both players to earn the wedge at the same time

Pick 2 players (number of controllers not important).

Choose a subject for player 1 (player 2 bets they will get it correct) Answer correctly (P1 - 2 points, P2 - 1 point)

Player twos turn - choose the same subject (player 1 bets that they will get it correct) Answer correctly (P1 - 3 points, P2 - 3 points)

Player ones turn, choose the same subject again (bet on correct) Answer correct. Both players now have enough for the wedge so it goes straight into a wedge off.

As described in the other solution, answer correctly for the player who wants the cheevo, incorrectly for the other player)

Using this method the whole cheevo can be done in as little as 5 questions from the start of the game (3 to get the wedges, 2(one each) for the wedge-off)

Tip: Stay along the spokes as it gives you a better chance of getting matching subjects. There is one of each subject 1 square away from the centre, one of each 2 squares away and so on so ALMOST any roll of the dice will lead to a choice of a matching subject

In a Facts & Friends game, land on a Bonus Event space and successfully win a Wedge Off by answering a question correctly to steal a wedge from an opponent. If you don't know the answer, press the button to pause the game, giving you ample time to look it up. I highly recommend downloading the Trivial Pursuit Movie Pack, which is available free from Playstation Store, and consulting SirkSirk's Movie Pack Questions & Answers thread.

NOTE: If you're unable to find the answer, feel free to guess; quitting to the XMB before the game auto-saves will allow you to try again.
