How to unlock the Explosive achievement in Troll and I - Definitive Guide

To make an explosive spear pick up the green shards, and and other spear materials. Once you have done that make the spear. Then you just have to kill an enemy with one. I think you can just blow up the rocks in during the story and get it that way. But Im not certain.
