How to unlock the Competent achievement in Tropico 4 - Definitive Guide

To level up traits you simply have to play a mission with them. Every time you select a trait it will increase by one star once you've successfully completed the mission.

To get this achievement, simply play with one trait for five missions. Be sure to change it up after that to get the Specialist and Expert achievements as well.

Just want to add that DLC traits count as well, as my first level 5 trait was the Plantador DLC trait and I got the achievement. I believe that also means I made more work for myself as far as getting them all maxed out though.
